60歳で年金がもらえない最初の世代が60歳になる――それが2013年問題なのだ。

これに対して、そもそもこの問題を引き起こした張本人である厚生労働省は昨年、「今後の高齢者雇用に関する研究会」をスタートさせた。そこで検討されているのは「希望者全員の65歳までの雇用確保策」。早い話、「なんとか企業で面倒みてやってくれ」と、解決策を企業に丸投げするルールづくりを進めようとしている。具体的に言えば、定年制の廃止、定年の延長、あるいはいったん定年退職した後、再雇用をする再雇用制度などで、企業に65歳までの雇用確保を義務づけるのは既定の方針だ。
